Last night, City Administrator Keith Riesberg updated Council on the current status and what is needed for the completion of the New Animal Shelter. The goal is to be completed by the end of the 2026, with an approximate $100,000 in funding still needed. Those interested in donating with a single or reoccurring donation, can do so through the Community Foundation of the Ozarks with a link that is available on the City of Rolla website, rollacity.gov. 

Also, to be noted, is the hugely successful fundraiser by Loving Paws Project that is scheduled for April 25th, 2026.
