Share Feedback on Opportunity Zone Census Tracts

The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) has opened a public comment period for census tracts submitted through the Opportunity Zones 2.0 intake process.

A list of submitted census tracts is available for review on DED’s Opportunity Zones 2.0 webpage.

DED is requesting feedback on:

1. Submitted Tracts: Project/investment information, local priorities, support, concerns, or other relevant context regarding one or more submitted tracts.
2. OZ 2.0 Intake Process: Feedback on this year’s intake process, including opportunities to improve future statewide communications, timelines, stakeholder engagement, and review processes.

Comments will be reviewed alongside tract-level data and relevant information to develop recommendations for designation as Opportunity Zones 2.0. Please note that comments do not guarantee a tract's nomination or removal.
