NOTICE OF WARD 1 VACANCY

The City of Rolla announces a vacancy in Ward 1 on the Rolla City Council.
Individuals interested in being considered for appointment to fill this vacancy are invited to submit a letter of interest and resume to the Office of the Mayor by email to mayor@rollacity.gov, or by mail to:

• Residential address confirming Ward 1 residency
• A brief statement of interest
• Resume

The following candidacy requirements must be met: 21 years of age, U.S. Citizen, inhabitant of city for one-year preceding appointment, resident of ward from which appointed six months immediately before the date of appointment, registered voter of Phelps County, no delinquent tax payments, and must not have been found guilty of or pled guilty to a felony under state or federal laws.

The Mayor will review all submissions and make an appointment with the consent of the Council, to serve the remainder of the unexpired term for Ward 1, expiring April 2027.
